Ben Lalisan is our last city tour from our partnership with With the Locals. While we're sad to see it coming to an end, this last guide is one for the books! Nashville is a well-known music capital, but Ben shows us the less-followed path, revealing hidden gems and a surprisingly bikeable version of the Music City.
"Hi, I’m Ben Lalisan, a designer and photographer based in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m really excited to team up with With The Locals and Brooklyn Bike Co and show you around a few of my favorite spots in Nashville. We are really fortunate to have a network of pedestrian and bike-friendly roads called the Nashville Greenway. It allows locals to walk or bike through many of the neighborhoods around Nashville. Germantown is one of my most favorite neighborhoods and I’ll show you a couple of my favorite spots there as well."
Some of the best coffee shops and restaurants can be found in Germantown. It's an up-and-coming neighborhood in Nashville with a great deal of revitalization happening.
If you're looking for a cozy place to get coffee, doughnuts from Five Daughters, and biscuit sandwiches, Barista Parlor in Germantown is it! It's quiet enough to get work done, and has a very chill vibe.
"Me and my thoughts...and my bike. I love this bike. The build quality is solid while being incredibly light."
Our Roebling in front of a mural by J. Dante Bard and Troy Duff at the entrance of Two Rivers Park.
"One of the iconic bridges in Nashville - Cumberland Pedestrian Bridge connects Two Rivers Park to Shelby Bottoms Park in East Nashville. The Roebling makes exploring Two Rivers Park and Shelby Bottoms Park a lot of fun!"
