I bought my "Blue Willow" two weeks into the pandemic and I could not be happier. The personalized service was phenomenal. The bike was delivered assembled. It rides beautifully and I have gotten so many compliments!!!
What can I say? Everything in the process of buying a bike online from Brooklyn Bicycle Co. during a pandemic has been amazing and seamless. Their friendly staff answered all my questions over the phone. The bike was personally delivered to my doorstep by Ryan himself, who is such a down to earth, cool guy. He helped make sure the seat was the right height and gave me a few pointers. I’ve had the bike for about a month now and have ridden every day it hasn’t been raining. The gears shift easily and smoothly and I don’t have to worry about too much maintenance because of the internal gearing system. The bike itself is beautiful and feels comfortable even on longer rides along the Westside highway and up that beast of the Harlem Hill in Central Park! I’m lucky that I was able to snag this gem before the shortage hit. My plan is to ride all summer long and then use it to commute to work once that reopens as well. I highly recommend this bike and company. All around a total pleasure!
I love my black Willow 3 speed. Whether it's for a quick trip to the store, commuting or a leisurely ride around the neighborhood, it is perfect. It's a comfortable ride, has just enough gears for managing moderate hills and looks like a killer vintage find, but without the necessary weight. It makes me smile every time I ride it and the excellent customer service that came with it made the whole experience five stars. Thank you Brooklyn Cycle!
I bought my Willow 3 bike during the quarantine and it has been so wonderful to get out and about -- from Brooklyn Bridge Park to Prospect Park to picking up dinner from further afield restaurants! The bike looks great, the gears shift smoothly and it maneuvers well, plus the customer service was top notch -- but to me, what this bike really represents is freedom and joy during a tough time.
Got this bike last month and honestly it's so great! I got the beautiful seaglass color! I don't know much about bikes but Ryan was super helpful at making sure I found the right one down to what I should feel the best seat height for me would be. Pickup was super easy! They have a partnership with Silk Roads so it was great to be able to pick up my already assembled bike. 10/10 would recommend this bike to anyone who is just looking for a cute commuter style bike!
I absolutely LoVE my new bike and so do many others! Every time I ride it, several people say “nice bike”! But aesthetics aside, it is such a comfortable bike and rides very well. The gears shift smoothly and it’s very sturdy, even when my basket is chock full of groceries. I’m very happy with my purchase :)
