Great crate

Very handy crate. Good size and easy to install on my Willow 7. Have used it for all random errands around Capitol Hill--Market, hardware store, meetings etc. I have not had noise issues when empty--sometimes contents will rattle (expected). I will reseal as I agree the sealing leaves me a bit concerned about longevity of finish. Overall a stylish and functional accessory.

This is awesome Frederick. We've seen so many clever uses for the rear crate. DEFINITELY give it a heavy coat of lacquer, remember, it's still wood and will eventually succumb to the elements if not properly treated. -Ryan Zagata

Great Quality Bike Crate

Extremely pleased with the quality of this bike crate. It took me about 4 minutes to install (rear bike rack already in place), and it looks great on my bike. Five stars! :)

Thanks so much Lisa. We are thrilled you were up and riding so quickly. -Ryan Zagata

Bike crate

I wanted to love this as much as I love my Willow bike, but I don't think I will be using it much. I knew it would make some noise while riding, but the combination of the rattling and the wind moving through it is too much for me. My bad, I should have checked on the attachment mechanism before purchase. I assumed it would be quick to get on and off the bike but the bracket requires not only a screwdriver, but also a wrench to hold the nut and tighten. I can also feel it pressing up against my back end/tailbone while I ride and this feels counterproductive to the super comfy seat on my Willow bike.

Lori - thanks so much for sharing your feedback. We just sent you a note directly with some suggestions to deter the rattling and to shift the rear crate so it will ride back a bit further on the carrier, not bumping up against your bottom. -Ryan Zagata

Functional and Stylish

This crate is super stylish and functional. I attached it on the back of my Willow and had no problems with installation or shifting when I ride around. I use this almost daily to carry stuff when heading to my neighborhood lakes to watch free concerts or hit the beach. It surprisingly carries more cargo than I anticipated and I am super happy with the purchase. I also get compliments on it all the time. LOVE!

Thanks for sharing Jourdan. The team at the office often competes to see who can more aptly stuff their crate beyond capacity. -Ryan Zagata
