We delight in getting customers on the right bike, even if that means referring them to another brand should we not have a suitable option. While we come from a variety of specialties and backgrounds, there is much that unites us.
Ryan Zagata is the founder of Brooklyn Bicycle Co., a globally distributed brand born from his two-wheeled love affair with Brooklyn. After two decades in sales, Ryan traded spreadsheets for spokes in 2011 to help people explore their cities on thoughtfully designed bikes. He’s a Goldman Sachs 10KSB alum, a regular media contributor on CNN and ABC News for supply chain insight (yes, he makes tariffs interesting), and a proud dad of two. Still based in Brooklyn, Ryan believes great ideas start with a ride—and sometimes a flat tire.

This is a great bike for a 60 year old female! It’s lightweight and there’s just enough gears for getting around a college town, nothing complicated. Plus, it looks nice!
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback Leslie. While we're glad you're seeing the bike as a head turner, the feedback on the ride is where our team perks up. Glad to have you in the Brooklyn Bicycle Co. family. -Ryan Zagata
This bike is the most enjoyable ride I’ve had since my last bike, which is a Brooklyn willow 7 (cr-mo frame). I love the two Brooklyn bikes I have- simple, but good. I also love the Grant Petersen inspired frame geometries- comfortable but responsive, not sluggish. I am 76 yrs. old, and have ridden my whole life ( and owned all sorts of bikes).Brooklyn bikes are well thought out.
Thanks a bunch Robert - that's been our tagline 'Everything you need, nothing you don't' - glad you're feeling the same. We're thrilled to have you add another of our bikes to your stable. -Ryan Zagata

Happily tackling NYC
Brooklyn-native here. Beyond easy to order and get my bike from a local shop, Two Seas. Perfect for cruising my commutes. Stable, simple, and well-priced.
Thanks for sharing Shane. Love this photo and we love that you're putting the bike through the paces here in Brooklyn. Happy to have you in the Brooklyn Bicycle Co. family. -Ryan Zagata
I haven't mounted it yet, because the bike is in the building stage, but it is similar to racks I have used in the past, plus the adjustability gives me options for placing eyelets, etc., on the new bike.
We appreciate you sharing your experience John. The adjustability of this carrier makes it easy to fit all size wheels as you suggest. -Ryan Zagata
