Step-throughs aren't "women's bikes." They're for anyone who wants easy on and off, whether that's a skirt, a suit, a bad knee, or just not wanting to swing a leg over a top tube at a red light.
The lineup:
- Franklin 3 (steel): internal 3-speed hub, color-matched fenders and chainguard. Simple, clean, happiest on flat-to-rolling terrain.
- Franklin 8 (steel): same frame, external 8-speed drivetrain with wider range for hills and longer rides. Also comes with color-matched fenders and chainguard.
- Willow 8i Disc (aluminum): internal gearing, disc brakes, fully loaded.
They weigh a bit north of 30 pounds with the sprung saddle and internal gearing. Our frames aren't sold separately; bikes come as complete units.
