For most city riding, both work well. Rim brakes are lighter, simpler, and cheaper to maintain. Disc brakes deliver more consistent stopping power in rain and on hills, which is why our Driggs 8i Disc and Willow 8i Disc carry them. The honest answer is that riding conditions matter more than the spec sheet.
