We purchased this basket to coordinate with my sister’s Brooklyn bicycle. I initially wanted the metal basket which was out of stock so I bought this instead. It’s so perfect, we could not be happier. Because there are no holes, like with the metal basket, everything stays in the basket when riding. This is important because my sister rides exclusively with my 3 year older kid son, so there are usually small toys, stuffed animals, children’s water bottle, etc: that accompany the rides. Plus the rocks, pine cones, etc. that are collected along the way. It’s so sweet watching them ride together!
Thanks for sharing Emily. The Nantucket baskets are incredibly popular and your review helps potential customers understand why. -Ryan Zagata

The basket is the perfect compliment to my Townie cruiser. Ordering was easy and received delivery timely - even during a very difficult retail period. I couldn’t be happier!
Thanks so much for sharing Julie. We're thrilled you're enjoying your basket. -Ryan Zagata

The addition of the extremely well built and attractive Nantucket basket...an accessory to a Brooklyn Bicycle...causes one to experience...dream if you will... of riding on the the on the island's historic bicycle paths... alongside spectacular beaches...picnic essentials within the basket. What a wonderful, peaceful, interlude among the hustle and bustle that surrounds us.
It' a gem!

I purchased a Nantucket Basket for my bike, but I haven't actually used it because I am sure it will get stolen since there is no way to lock it to the bike. I sadly didn't think about that before purchasing it. If you all have a suggestion on how to safely secure it I would love to hear it (or consider adding that in a future design). Maybe I am too paranoid, but I live in DC where bike stuff is stolen.
It is cute, though! Thanks, Elizabeth
Thank you for sharing Elizabeth. With this basket, we gather that Nantucket Baskets (the manufacturer) opted to balance aesthetics with security. It's a light duty basket, not suitable for much more than a purse, towel, and phone but it's also meant to be incredibly easy to install/remove. We'll pass your comments along to the Nantucket team. Thanks again. -Ryan Zagata

So love love love my basket and bike.
It actually holds more than I thought it would!!
I placed a Gorilla Glue clear tape on the head tube behind the basket base so it doesn’t rub on the paint. Works like a charm.
Thanks Ryan and Co.

It's not surprising that this item is frequently sold out. I consider myself fortunate to get in the cue. Skillfully crafted in the familiar Nantucket style. Durable. Easy to mount with two leather straps. Holds a great deal more than you think, but never obtrusive. Very Nantucket.
Great description Thomas. Thanks for sharing. -Ryan Zagata
