This is obviously a great looking bike and the quality is just as great. BUT the reason I wanted to be sure to write a review is that the process was so easy and the concept is so wonderful. I ordered this bike from Atlanta and it was shipped to a bike shop right on the Beltline. (That's our big greenway that runs through all these cool neighborhoods with lots of restaurants and markets along the way. If you don't know, now you know.) So less than two weeks after I placed my order, I got a call from the bike shop that my bike was ready and got a ride over there. I just walked in, they had it all ready, I walked right out to the Beltline and rode right home. It was so easy and stress-free and it caused me to go into that bike shop, which I never would have thought to do because, while it's a short ten or so minute ride from my house down the Beltline, it's not technically in my neighborhood. I have told everyone who will listen about how great this experience was. Just get your bike here, you won't regret it. P.s. I've gotten a thousand compliments on how cool it looks.
I love the look of this bike, it's vintage looking but still modern! All in all just a wonderful 7 speed bike that gets me around the city in style!
I had not expected to fall in love with it right away.
After all, I am sentimentally attached to my Giant mountain bike of 18 years.
After being helped by almost everyone who works at the North Park Bike store,
over the course of three visits, I have to say thank you so much to everyone
who helped get me to this point.
It all started with my bike being stolen.
I was heart broken to think someone may dispose of it.
I had ridden plenty of trails…it traveled everywhere with me.
When I emailed a few shops to ask to watch out for it,
Christine sent an encouraging note and direction to post to
the Stolen Bike Avengers Facebook group,
report to police, and check out a few areas (that were new to me).
Well, the bike was recovered with two days…it was in good shape.
I had been hesitant to buy a new bike, but it was getting increasingly difficult
to get over the cross bar of my Giant. I have a bad leg due to MS.
I have struggled to keep cycling over the last 10 years.
But I LOVE to ride.
Today, when I left the shop, I thought I might just ride home and that would be
a typical ride for me.
I loved ride so much - rode all over Fairfield, James Bay, along Dallas Rd. to Clover Point,
all the while pedaling, but feeling like I could go for hours!!!
This is truly amazing!
It was like being little kid (with new kitted bike) all over again!
Thank you all very much for the great joy you have brought to me today!!!!
I received my Franklin 3 about a week ago and cannot be more than satisfied with this purchase. This bike is gorgeous in person. Pictures online do not do it justice. It rides smoothly and I'm loving every aspect of it. Thank you!
I love my bike. It is extremely well made and I know it will last a lifetime. This company definitely knows how to create a positive customer experience -- I received lots of communication pre-arrival, and the pickup was seamless. I'm 5'6" and really glad I ordered the small because I sit a little higher on the bike and in a slightly more defensive position which makes it easier to go up hills in Denver. I think had I ordered the next size up, I would've been too big. I would recommend this bike and this company to anyone! -Emily
