HOW TO MEASURE YOUR INSEAM:

The MOST IMPORTANT measurement when sizing a bike is your inseam length. Don't base your inseam simply on your jean size. The more precise, the better.

1. Stand with your back against a wall and spread your feet 6"- 8" apart.

2. Place a book between your legs and up against the wall, spine up; raise it until snug against your crotch (this mimics your bike seat).

3. Have another person measure from the top of the book (spine) down to the floor.

4. We strongly encourage viewing this YouTube video on how to properly measure your inseam.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I have a road bike, mountain bike & beach cruiser. Was looking for an upright bike to cruise around our hilly neighborhood in Northern VA. Randomly saw Brooklyn Bicycle Co. online & was intrigued with their models. Got an email for Black Friday specials & inquired about 2 models - Bedford & Driggs. Feedback based on my terrain was to go with the Bedford because it has more gears. Ordered Bedford & it was delivered to LBS near me. Process was easy. Only issue was a very minor ding in shipping on top tube. Was given a heads up (which I appreciated) & was sent touch up paint. Picked up bike & the ding is a non-issue. Local shop let me test ride & helped set seat height. Process was great, support is spot on & I love the bike! The green color with brown saddle is old school perfect & the bike itself is right on - comfortable, upright position what I wanted & Shimano shifters work great! Glad I got the 8 speed instead of 3 speed. Price point versus other major brands was pretty amazing for the quality of the bike. Thank you Brookly Bicycle!

Up dated review accidentally hit 1 star

I accidentally rated Brooklyn Bikes 1 star I am very pleased that I have not ridden my e bike since I got this bike three weeks ago..it's very sharp looking and it's helping me get the much needed excersise..it's light weight I had ordered the lights with it and all is so good . I feel like a kid again been riding to the office regularly..honestly have to say looks good with my leather jacket I wear to work...5 stars for sure!

What's the difference between the Bedford 8 and the Roebling?
