What is the "Love at First Ride Promise?"
We believe professional bike assembly isn’t just a convenience—it’s essential. Thanks to our local assembly process and rigorous quality control, we’re confident you’ll love your bike right away. If not, you have 30 days. An exchange is $100, which covers freight back to us and a second professional build at your local shop. A return is refunded less the $200 round-trip cost, the shipping and assembly already spent on your bike plus breaking it down and shipping it back. Warehouse deals, factory deals, and any discounted bike are final sale.
How are you able to offer this program?
Because we don’t cut corners.
Our bikes are professionally assembled by local experts, not shipped in a box with an Allen wrench. Each bike is rigorously quality-checked before it ever reaches your hands. That level of care means most customers fall in love from the very first ride. So we’re happy to stand behind that.
What if I ride it and decide it’s not for me?
No hard feelings.
If it’s not love at first ride, you’ve got 30 days to return the bike in like-new condition. If you want a different size or model, an exchange is $100. If you would rather send it back, we refund your purchase less the $200 round-trip cost. Neither number carries profit; both cover part of what we already spent getting the bike to you built, and what we spend getting it back.
Why do an exchange and a return cost different amounts?
Every bike ships to you free and is professionally assembled by a mechanic before you ride it, about $160 spent before it reaches you, and none of it comes back. If a bike comes back we pay again: freight to us, and a second professional build if you are exchanging. An exchange is $100 because we would rather you ride the right bike than no bike.
