Good kickstand, should be included in bike purchase

This kickstand does the job well, but it is kind of annoying that it had to be purchased separately from the bike I bought.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts Sam. We include kickstands on all of our bikes save a few models. It is a personal preference but most commuters want their bike to be as light as possible so don't include kickstands, instead making them available in the aftermarket for these models. -Ryan Zagata

Best Experience to date

I had a mountain bike in the past that was very difficult to manage and got turned off biking. Recently moved to a new city and had an urgent need for a functional commuter bike. The entire process with Brooklyn Bicycle was seamless and unbelievably helpful! The consultation was very helpful in choosing my Franklin 8, and they were able to expedite my bicycle process so I could start work on time! More than a month later, I’m in love with my bicycle, and take it everywhere!

My wife loves it.

The purchase experience was easy. It was shipped quickly and assembled at a local bike shop with no add’l cost. Neither was there any shipping cost.
At first glance, my wife loved the color. At first ride, she was hooked. The bottom line is it’s comfortable. We took it on our anniversary trip on which she rode it three consecutive days after not having ridden for quite a while. She wasn’t sore a bit, just really enjoyed the bike. Good choice for a great anniversary gift.
