Purchased this bike being it my first bike since the 80s. I needed something that was commuter friendly as well as a fitness and everyday cruising bike. This Roebling fits everything I needed. Very comfortable being the right frame size for my height and the simplicity for the maintenance, adjustments, repair and replace. I am delighted to report that I am delighted with my Franklin 8 Speed! A few weeks ago I rode it almost the entire length of Manhattan on a âSummer Streetsâ day, from Foley Square up to Dyckman Street in Inwood, and it was an absolute pleasure. I love the comfy upright riding position, the ease of the step-through design, and the smooth, solid gear mechanism. Iâd recommend this bike to anyone looking for a practical âgetting around townâ ride.

This is an updated review because my order originally had shipping trouble and never arrived. The team at Brooklyn Bicycle reached back to help with what they could and quickly replaced the grips for me. Now that they are here they work well and are very comfortable. I appreciated the help I received and would order again!
Thanks for giving us a chance to make this right Adam. Glad youâre liking the grips. -Ryan Zagata
